Parasha Adventures with SlowMo is a curriculum for for the lower classes students learning Hebrew. The weekly parasha is explored in the context of the family, focusing each time on a specific aspect drawn from the everyday experiences of young children.
Each unit consists of four components:
- A letter (in English) from SlowMo, the turtle who introduces the children to a theme from the parasha a few days before the lesson.

- Class activities in Hebrew: Reading a few verses from the parasha; “Let’s Talk” – a comic strip illustrating a conversation between family members which explains the verses and connects them to the children’s lives; Features— items connected to the theme, such as a poem, a song, a work of art, some detail about life in Israel, a natural phenomenon, or a riddle, puzzle, or game.
